CompuServe does not provide custom domain names for their free OurWorld service and you can't just register a domain name and have it automatically point to your free space within OurWorld. Every domain name needs to have active domain name service (DNS) and a corresponding numerical address. CompuServe does not provide either of these services on OurWorld.
We can help. We provide the necessary services to map a domain name to your OurWorld directory. Using the latest Internet technology, you can have a short domain name and still use your free OurWorld web space. You may register a custom domain name using your company or product name with any of the Internet domain registries (we can help with this too, just ask) or you can use a custom version of our "ourworld.nu" domain.

Please note that a custom registered domain name (i.e. yourcompany.com) usually requires an additional fee payable to a domain registry. There is no additional fee to use a custom version of our "ourworld.nu" domain.
The registration fee for a .biz, .com, .info, .net or .org domain registered through DNS Central starts at $22 a year (compare to $35 a year elsewhere) and discounts are available for multi-year registrations. This fee includes all Internic fees.
